Expanding the Real-time Payment Market in Australia
Enterprises connected to the Nium platform can now make real-time cross-border payments to bank accounts in Australia. This will reduce payment costs, shorten transaction times, and enhance reliability.
By leveraging Australia's New Payments Platform (NPP), Nium ensures that global enterprises can make instant payments to bank accounts or proxy accounts (such as PayID) in Australia.
In addition, international enterprises can access Nium's global real-time payment network through a single API, simplifying the expansion process and meeting the compliance requirements of multiple jurisdictions.
This initiative reflects Nium's commitment to building a global real-time payment network and driving the transformation of fund flows. The real-time cross-border payment function in Australia further strengthens Nium's payment network, which already covers markets in Asia, Europe, North America, and South America.
