Overview
TrueMoney is an electronic wallet in Thailand, founded in November 2016 by Ant Financial and Thai payment company Ascend Money.
With over 50 million users, TrueMoney allows customers to make bank transfers or pay in cash at convenience stores such as 7-Eleven, Family Mart, CP fresh Mart, and True Shops. It can also be used for online shopping, game top-ups, and payment of over 70 types of bills, including utility bills, transportation fees, taxes, and insurance, making it widely used and known as the "Thai Alipay."
Currently, TrueMoney has offices in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, and the Philippines. It holds licenses to operate electronic money in several Southeast Asian countries and has a network of 65,000 agents, making it the largest regional agent network in Southeast Asia and the top-ranked electronic wallet in Thailand.

TrueMoney supports payment at 7-11, bill payment, in-store payments, credit card bill payment, utility bill payment (water and electricity), service purchases, insurance purchases, Netflix registration, shopping on Google Play Store, shopping on Apple Store, purchasing Major Cineplex movie tickets, vending machine purchases, game top-ups, internet package top-ups, Easy Pass top-up/purchase, mobile top-ups, TrueMoney wallet top-ups, and credit/debit card linking.
Moreover, TrueMoney payments offer many discounts and promotions. Just like Alipay in China, merchants can display payment codes for consumers to scan and complete their payments, allowing for contactless payment.
Payment Process
1. Consumers select "TrueMoney" as the payment method, enter their email, and click "Go to TrueMoney."
2. Enter their name and click "Continue."
3. Redirected to TrueMoney, enter their mobile number and verification code.
4. Confirm the payment amount, complete the payment, and return to the merchant's page.
